M16A3 Assualt Rifle.
The IDS M16A3 is a lightweight, gas operated, air-cooled, magazine fed, selective fire rate, shoulder fired weapon. The Barrel is Precision Cold Forged for greatly increased life and improved accuracy; bore and chamber are hard chrome plated for extra life and resistance to corrosion. Bolt carrier, Bolt and Extractor are hard chrome plated for extra life.
The IDS M16A3 provides the individual soldier operating in close quarters the capability to engage targets at extended range with accurate, lethal fire. Parts interchangeability with the M16A2 exceeds 80%.
